Norma’s Cafe Day was proclaimed by Dallas Mayor Laura Miller for May 15, 2006 in recognition of the restaurant’s 50th anniversary. In 2017, Norma’s Cafe received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from the White House and President Obama for our commitment to serving our community. That same year, Norma’s Cafe received the Certificate of Appreciation from the Dallas Park and Recreation Department for our partnership with multiple facilities and countless donations.
